Victorian Gilt Bronze Bird Pincushion
This is a charming antique gilt bronze pincushion, modelled as a swallow. The bird is beautifully detailed, with textured feathers and a realistically sculpted head. The pincushion is formed by the bird’s body, and it bears a registration number ‘625’ to the base, dating it to circa 1880. This piece would have been a functional and decorative item in a Victorian sewing kit.

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
