Kukri Knife Overview

This is a vintage kukri knife, likely originating from India or associated with Gurkha regiments. The knife features a distinctive curved blade, traditionally used for both utility and combat purposes. It is accompanied by a scabbard and what appears to be a smaller skinning knife, suggesting a practical, multi-tool design. The blade exhibits a robust construction, indicative of its intended use, and the scabbard shows signs of age and wear consistent with a vintage item.

Condition and Collectibility

The kukri knife displays signs of age and use, with patina and wear to both the blade and scabbard. While not pristine, this wear contributes to its character and authenticity as a vintage piece. This knife would be of interest to collectors of military memorabilia, ethnographic arms and armour, or those interested in the history and culture of the Gurkha people. The inclusion of the smaller knife adds to its appeal as a complete set.
