Bidding in the Room

The traditional way of bidding is in person at the auction house while the auction is live or leave a commission bid and we will bid on your behalf.

STEP 01

Register

On arrival you will register at the office. This only takes a minute and includes signing an agreement to adhere to the auctions terms and conditions. You will be given a ‘paddle’ with your bidder number on.
To leave a Commission Bid you will need to fill in a form indicating which lots you are interested in and the highest price you would like to pay.

STEP 02

To Bid

To bid during the auction just raise your hand or paddle in the air to get the auctioneers attention. If you are new to auctions its best to watch the room for a few lots to see how the bidding process works.
A member of staff will partake on behalf of any Commission Bids.

STEP 03

Complete Purchase

When you have finished bidding take your paddle to the office where you will be able to pay for the lots you have won. Commission Bidders will be notified after the auction by phone if you have won any items and invited to complete the purchase. We accept cash, credit/debit card or bank transfer.
NOTE: For larger items we do offer a local delivery service.
