Vintage Scottish Car Grill Badge
This striking grill badge features a silver-coloured lion rampant against a black and white chequered background. The badge is constructed from metal, likely a base metal with a silver finish, and displays a classic heraldic design. It would have originally been affixed to the grill of a vehicle, serving as a decorative and identifying emblem, likely from a Scottish-associated vehicle or owner.
Condition and Collectibility
The badge shows signs of age and wear, with some surface scratches and minor imperfections to the finish. Despite this, the design remains clear and the badge retains its character. This badge would appeal to collectors of vintage automotive memorabilia, particularly those with an interest in Scottish history or heraldry, and would be a unique addition to any collection or restoration project.
