Robertson Golly Band Figures

This lot comprises five charming vintage Robertson golly band figures. Each figure depicts a golly character playing a different musical instrument – a trumpet, a saxophone, a drum, a trombone, and a clarinet. These figures were originally included as promotional gifts within Robertson’s Golden Shred breakfast cereal boxes during the 1960s and 1970s, becoming highly sought-after collectibles. The figures are made of plastic and feature the iconic golly character with bright red lips and white eyes.

Condition and Collectibility

These figures exhibit signs of age and wear consistent with their vintage. There may be minor paint loss, scratches, or discoloration. Despite these imperfections, the figures remain visually appealing and represent a nostalgic piece of British pop culture. These Robertson golly band figures are of interest to collectors of vintage toys, golly memorabilia, and those seeking a charming piece of nostalgia.
