Malay Kris Dagger Introduction
This is a vintage Malay kris dagger, featuring a distinctive wavy blade traditionally associated with the Malay Peninsula, Indonesia, and parts of Thailand. The blade exhibits the characteristic *pamor* (damascus steel) pattern, created through the folding and welding of different types of iron and nickel-bearing iron ores. The dagger is accompanied by a wooden scabbard, intricately carved with traditional motifs, and a brass handle, providing a secure grip.
Malay Kris Dagger Condition
This vintage kris dagger shows signs consistent with age and use, including patina to the blade and handle, and minor wear to the scabbard. While the blade retains a sharp edge, it is not guaranteed to be in a usable condition. This piece would be of interest to collectors of ethnographic weapons, Southeast Asian art, or those interested in the history of weaponry.

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
