German Post Office Wall Clock

This is a German post office wall clock, likely dating to the early 20th century. The clock features a white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and a secondary alarm dial. It is a time-only clock with a pendulum and weights for operation, typical of post office timekeeping devices of the period. The clock’s construction suggests a robust and reliable design intended for public use.

Condition & Collectibility

The clock presents with signs consistent with age and use. The enamel dial shows some wear and minor imperfections, and the wooden case exhibits patina. The weights and pendulum are present, though their functionality is not assessed. This clock would be of interest to collectors of horological history, vintage timekeeping devices, or those with an interest in German post office memorabilia.
