Richard III Silver Groat
This is a silver groat issued during the reign of Richard III (1483-1485). The coin features a portrait of the king on the obverse, with the inscription surrounding it. The reverse displays a long cross with trefoils and a central shield. These groats were a standard denomination in England during the late medieval period, and represent a tangible link to a turbulent period in English history.
Condition and Collectibility

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
