WWII War Maps and Buckinghamshire Book

This lot comprises three wartime maps, likely dating from the Second World War, alongside a copy of “The Penn Country of Buckinghamshire”. The maps appear to depict areas of strategic importance, potentially relating to military planning or troop movements. The book offers a detailed look at the geography, history, and culture of Buckinghamshire, providing a fascinating contrast to the wartime cartography.

Condition and Collectibility

The maps exhibit signs of age and use, with some creasing, minor tears, and discolouration consistent with their age. The book shows wear to the cover and spine, but the pages remain largely intact and readable. This collection would appeal to collectors of WWII ephemera, military history enthusiasts, and those interested in the local history of Buckinghamshire.
