Georgian Miniature Portraits & Staffordshire Cavalier

This lot comprises two delicate Georgian miniature portraits, likely depicting members of high society, alongside a charming Staffordshire ceramic miniature portrait of a cavalier. The portraits are painted on oval supports, typical of the period, and showcase the fashionable attire and hairstyles of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The Staffordshire figure offers a contrasting, three-dimensional representation of a gentleman from the same era, adding a delightful element of variety to the collection.

Condition & Collectibility

The miniatures and ceramic figure exhibit signs of age and wear consistent with their age, including minor paint loss and surface scratches. Despite these imperfections, the portraits retain their charm and historical significance. This lot would appeal to collectors of portrait miniatures, Staffordshire ceramics, or those interested in Georgian and 18th-century history and fashion.
