Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes Jewel

This is a silver gilt jewel belonging to the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, specifically from a lodge in Kenya. The jewel is intricately designed, featuring a buffalo head emblem and surrounding text including “Royal,” “Mortallium Omnibus,” and “Sapiat.” The ribbon attached is red and white striped, with a circular blue medallion displaying further emblems and text. This piece represents the 2nd Degree within the lodge structure.

Condition and Collectibility

The jewel shows signs of wear consistent with age and use, but remains in good condition overall. The silver gilt finish retains much of its original lustre, and the ribbon is intact, though showing some fading. This jewel would be a desirable addition to a collection of Masonic or fraternal regalia, particularly for those interested in the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes or items from Kenyan lodges.
