British War Medal to Private C. Leaf, Border Regiment
This is a British War Medal awarded between 1914 and 1918, recognising the service of soldiers during the First World War. The medal is silver in colour and features the effigy of King George V on the obverse, with the inscription “GEORGIUS V BRITT OMN REX ET IND IMP”. The ribbon is a distinctive combination of purple, orange, and green stripes. This particular medal is named in impressed capital letters to “PTE C. LEAF”, indicating it was awarded to a Private C. Leaf of the Border Regiment.
Condition and Collectibility

Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
