Introduction
This is a charming tea light holder in the form of a seated monkey. Crafted from what appears to be brass or a brass alloy, the figurine depicts a detailed monkey with a raised platform on its head, designed to hold a standard tea light candle. The piece exhibits a vintage aesthetic, likely dating from the mid-20th century, and would serve as a unique and eye-catching addition to any home decor.
Condition
The tea light holder shows signs of age and wear, consistent with its vintage nature. There are some areas of patina and minor surface blemishes, which add to its character. Despite these imperfections, the piece remains structurally sound and retains its original charm. Collectors of animal figurines or vintage brassware may find this piece particularly appealing, as it offers a blend of artistic design and historical interest.
