WWII Air Ministry Compass

This is a WWII-era Air Ministry compass, likely intended for use in aircraft such as the Spitfire or Hurricane. The compass features a fluid-filled capsule housing a magnetic needle, allowing for accurate heading indication during flight. The casing is constructed from metal, displaying a robust build quality typical of wartime instruments. Markings are present on the dial and casing, consistent with Air Ministry specifications.

Condition & Collectibility

This compass shows signs of age and use, consistent with its wartime history. The fluid level may be depleted, and the casing exhibits wear and patina.
