Grenadier Guards Band Poster & Wild Cherry Print
This lot comprises a vibrant poster advertising a performance by the Band of the Grenadier Guards in 1985, alongside a promotional print for Wild Cherry pipe tobacco. The poster, dated 1985, celebrates 300 years of the Grenadier Guards, and features signatures from members of the band. The accompanying Wild Cherry print showcases the tobacco’s branding and imagery, evoking a classic smoking experience. Both pieces offer a glimpse into British military and consumer culture of the mid-1980s.
Condition & Collectibility
Both the poster and print exhibit signs of age and handling, consistent with their vintage. The poster shows some creasing and minor wear, while the print may have slight discoloration. Despite these imperfections, the pieces remain visually appealing and historically significant. This lot would be of interest to collectors of military memorabilia, vintage advertising, or ephemera relating to British musical heritage.
