Britain’s First Decimal Coin Collection

This lot comprises a quantity of Britain’s first decimal coin folders, alongside a tub filled with assorted coins. The folders appear to be designed for collecting the new coinage introduced in 1971, featuring spaces for each denomination. The collection also includes a variety of loose coins, potentially offering opportunities to complete or expand existing sets.

Condition and Collectibility

The condition of the folders and coins varies. Some folders show signs of age and wear, while the coins range from circulated examples to potentially uncirculated pieces. This lot would appeal to coin collectors interested in British decimal coinage, those seeking to complete existing folders, or individuals looking for a diverse selection of vintage coins.
