Luftwaffe Presentation Plate
This silver-plated presentation plate dates to 1942 and was awarded by the Luftwaffe. The plate features a raised Luftwaffe eagle with a swastika, along with the inscription “Für besondere Bewährung” (For special merit) and “Der kommandierende General und Feldwebelhaber”. The plate is marked “Feinsilber Alpaka” and “J.W Wagner & Sohn”, indicating the manufacturer and material.
Condition and Collectibility
The plate exhibits signs of age and wear consistent with its age, including some surface scratches and minor tarnishing. Despite this, the raised details remain crisp and legible, and the silver plating is largely intact. This plate is a rare and historically significant piece of WWII memorabilia, appealing to collectors of military history, aviation artifacts, and Third Reich items.

We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
