Vintage Folding Pocket Knives

This lot comprises two vintage folding pocket knives. One is marked ‘George Wostenholm of Sheffield’, a renowned cutler from Sheffield, England, known for producing high-quality knives throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. The knives feature bone handles and appear to be two-blade configurations, typical of the era. These knives would have been everyday carry items, used for various tasks.

Condition and Collectibility

Both knives exhibit signs of age and use, with patination to the blades and handles. The blades show wear consistent with sharpening and use. These knives are of interest to collectors of antique cutlery, particularly those focusing on Sheffield-made knives. They also appeal to those interested in vintage tools and everyday carry items.
