Syren Half Hunter Pocket Watch
This is a vintage Syren half hunter pocket watch, featuring a gold plated case and a white enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers. The half hunter case allows a glimpse of the movement without fully opening the cover. The watch features a subsidiary seconds dial and is marked with ‘Syren’ on the dial. The case back is stamped with ‘A.L. Dennison, Watch Case Co. Ltd.’ and a serial number, ‘691809’, along with ‘Trade Mark’ and ‘Moon’ markings.
Condition and Collectibility
The watch appears to be in its original condition, with signs of age and wear consistent with a vintage item. The gold plating shows some wear, and the dial exhibits some patina. This watch would be of interest to collectors of vintage pocket watches, particularly those interested in the Syren brand or examples of A.L. Dennison watch cases. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. #### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
