Historical Beefeater Figurine
This is a vintage brass moneybox in the form of a Beefeater, also known as a Yeoman Warder. The detailed casting depicts the iconic uniform, including the distinctive hat and ornate collar. This piece likely dates to the mid-20th century and would have served as a charming and functional item for saving coins. The figure is solid and weighty, suggesting quality construction.
Condition and Collectibility
This Beefeater moneybox shows signs of age and wear, with some patina and minor surface imperfections consistent with its vintage. It retains a lovely aged appearance, adding to its character. This would be a desirable addition to a collection of British memorabilia, novelty banks, or vintage brass items, appealing to collectors and those interested in historical figures.
