Antique Brass Jam Pans

This lot comprises two antique brass jam pans, likely dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. These pans feature a classic, rounded form with sturdy, looped handles for easy lifting and pouring. The brass construction suggests they were intended for use over an open flame or stove, ideal for making jams, preserves, and other culinary delights. Their size and construction indicate they were likely used in a domestic setting, possibly a farmhouse or large kitchen.

Condition and Collectibility

These jam pans exhibit signs of age and use, with a lovely patina developed over time. There are areas of discolouration and wear consistent with their age and previous use, adding to their character. These pans would appeal to collectors of antique kitchenalia, those interested in historical cooking methods, or individuals seeking unique decorative items for a rustic or vintage-inspired kitchen.
