Victorian Silver Crown 1896

This is a silver crown coin dating from 1896, during the reign of Queen Victoria. The obverse features a detailed portrait of Queen Victoria, adorned with a crown and veil, and inscribed with the Latin text “VICTORIA DEI. GRA. BRITT. REGINA FID. DEF. IND. IMP.” which translates to “Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of Great Britain, Defender of the Faith, Empress of India”.
