Silver Salts by Robert Pringle & Sons
This is a charming pair of silver-rimmed salts, hallmarked in London in 1923 by Robert Pringle & Sons. The salts feature a cut glass body, beautifully showcasing light and adding a touch of elegance. The sterling silver rims provide a refined contrast to the glass, and the overall design is indicative of the Art Deco period, blending functionality with aesthetic appeal.
Condition and Collectibility
These salts exhibit signs consistent with age and use, including minor surface scratches and possible light wear to the silver rims. However, these imperfections do not detract significantly from their overall charm and character. As antique silver pieces from a reputable silversmith, these salts would be a desirable addition to a collection of vintage tableware or a unique gift for a discerning collector.
