Vintage Sack Barrow
This is a vintage sack barrow, a traditional hand-operated trolley used for transporting sacks and heavy loads. Constructed from welded steel, it features a simple, robust design with a two-wheeled chassis and angled handles for easy manoeuvrability. This style of barrow would have been commonly found in agricultural settings, warehouses, and industrial environments, offering a practical solution for moving goods before the advent of powered forklifts.
Condition
The barrow exhibits signs of age and use, with surface rust and wear commensurate with its vintage. It appears structurally sound, though it has not been tested for load-bearing capacity. This piece would appeal to collectors of vintage tools, garden history enthusiasts, or those seeking a unique and characterful addition to a display or garden setting.
