Drawing Instrument Sets
This lot comprises four vintage drawing instrument sets, alongside a bell revolution counter. These sets appear to be constructed from brass and steel, typical of instruments from the early to mid 20th century. Each set includes a variety of components such as compasses, dividers, and pens, designed for precision drafting and technical drawing. The bell revolution counter is a fascinating piece, likely used in engineering or surveying to measure rotational speed.
Condition and Collectibility
The instruments exhibit signs of age and use, with some patina and wear commensurate with their age. The sets are presented as found, and their functionality is not assessed. These sets would appeal to collectors of antique tools, drafting enthusiasts, or those interested in the history of engineering and surveying. The inclusion of the bell revolution counter adds a unique element to this collection.
