Introduction
This is a vintage metal garden roller, likely dating from the mid-20th century or earlier. Constructed with a cylindrical metal roller and a painted metal frame, this tool was designed to compact soil, break up clumps, and create a smooth surface for lawns or garden beds. The green paint suggests a period aesthetic, and the robust construction indicates a durable and practical design intended for regular use.
Condition
This garden roller exhibits signs of age and use, with surface rust and wear to the paint consistent with its vintage. The roller itself shows some corrosion, but remains structurally sound. It presents an opportunity for restoration or can be appreciated for its weathered charm, appealing to collectors of garden tools or those seeking a rustic aesthetic for their outdoor spaces.
