Mineral Wagon Description

This is an O gauge mineral wagon, likely dating from the mid-20th century. Constructed with a pressed steel chassis and a blue body, it features a detailed, open-top design intended to carry loose materials like coal or ore. The wagon’s construction suggests a tinplate origin, common for model railways of this era, and it has a charming, slightly weathered aesthetic indicative of its age.

Condition

This mineral wagon presents as a well-preserved example of a vintage model railway item. The paintwork shows signs of age and wear, with some minor scratches and imperfections, which add to its character. It would be a desirable addition to any O gauge railway collection, particularly for those interested in pre-war or mid-century tinplate models.
