RCAF Observer and Air Gunner Log Books

This lot comprises two Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) log books. The first is an Observer’s and Air Gunner’s Flying Log Book, CA Form 35, with entries dating from 1941. The second is a post-war Journey Log Book, likely used for civilian flights. Both books offer a fascinating glimpse into the operational history of a RCAF aircrew member, detailing flight dates, aircraft types, pilot names, duties performed, and locations flown.

Condition and Collectibility

These log books show signs of age and use, with wear to the covers and some foxing to the pages. The entries are largely legible, providing valuable historical information. These log books are of particular interest to collectors of aviation memorabilia, military history enthusiasts, and those researching the RCAF’s role in World War II. The inclusion of both wartime and post-war logs adds to the historical scope of this lot.
