Crofts Engineers Model 120 Conversion Unit
This is a vintage Crofts Engineers Model 120 DO 230V conversion unit. The unit is constructed from heavy gauge steel and finished in a faded turquoise paint. A brass plate is affixed to the top, displaying technical information and the manufacturer’s details. The unit features a robust build quality typical of industrial electrical components from the mid-20th century.
Condition and Collector Appeal
The unit shows significant signs of age and use, with surface corrosion and wear consistent with its age. The paint is heavily weathered and there is evidence of past repairs. Despite its condition, this unit presents a fascinating piece for collectors of vintage electrical equipment or industrial memorabilia. Its original features and robust construction make it a desirable item for restoration or display.
