Pair of Vintage Staffordshire Cats
This charming pair of Staffordshire cats dates to the turn of the century. These whimsical figurines, crafted from earthenware, showcase a classic Staffordshire style with vibrant, hand-painted floral detailing and a distinctive arched back pose. The cats exhibit the typical glossy glaze associated with Staffordshire pottery, and their expressive faces add to their endearing appeal.
Condition and Collectibility
These vintage Staffordshire cats exhibit signs consistent with age and use, including minor crazing to the glaze and some wear to the painted details. Despite these imperfections, they remain delightful examples of Victorian-era ceramics. Their age, charming aesthetic, and collectible nature make them desirable pieces for enthusiasts of Staffordshire pottery and antique animal figurines.
