Carved Pine Bambi Stool
This charming stool is hand-carved from pine by G.R. Hanson, depicting the beloved Disney character, Bambi. The stool features a circular seat with a detailed carving of Bambi in the centre, supported by three sturdy legs. The craftsmanship demonstrates a folk art style, with a focus on natural wood grain and a whimsical design. This piece is a delightful example of mid-century handmade artistry.
Condition and Collectibility
This stool shows signs of age and use, with some minor wear and patina consistent with its vintage nature. The carving remains remarkably detailed, and the stool is structurally sound. This piece would appeal to collectors of Disneyana, folk art, or mid-century furniture, and would make a unique and charming addition to any home.
