Kashmir Runner Rug Details
This is an 8ft x 2ft Kashmir runner rug, showcasing an intricate multi-patchwork tile pattern. The design alternates between delicate floral motifs and traditional medallion designs, creating a visually rich and dynamic surface. The rug’s construction suggests a skilled hand-knotting technique, typical of Kashmir weaving, and the colour palette features muted tones that would complement a variety of interior styles.
Condition and Collectibility
This runner rug exhibits signs of wear consistent with its age and use, adding to its character and authenticity. While not pristine, the rug retains its structural integrity and visual appeal, making it a desirable piece for collectors of oriental rugs or those seeking a unique and characterful addition to their home décor.
