A Framed 20th Century Gouache Landscape
This framed gouache landscape presents an expansive scene beneath a deep blue sky, with a prominent luminous white cloud drifting across the upper left. Layered hills recede into muted violet and blue tones, while a sandy, sculpted form in the lower right foreground introduces warmer ochre passages. The work is marked with a monogram in the bottom left corner. It is set within a navy-finished frame with a pale cream inner slip.
Condition and Collector Appeal
The lot is offered in its current frame, which appears to be intact with no obvious damage visible. The painted surface shows no evident losses in the presented view, but the work has not been examined out of frame and no further condition report is given here. The thickly applied cloud, atmospheric colour and bold blue palette will appeal to collectors of 20th century landscape painting and to buyers seeking a striking piece of decorative wall art. The monogram is the only identifying mark noted.
