ABC SC46A-S Super Custom Glow Engine
Offered here is an ABC Super Custom glow engine, model SC46A-S, described as an Aero RC engine. The engine is presented in its original ABC box, which is marked with the “SC” logo and the wording “super custom glow engine” along with the words Performance, Reliability, Precision, Power and Speed. The engine is wrapped in plastic and held within a white foam insert, and the reference 4480240 is noted on the lot. Its silver-finished body, with a finned section and a glow plug fitting, reflects the design of a glow-fuel model engine intended for radio-controlled aircraft.
Packaging and Condition
The engine is offered in its original box with the foam insert, a format that will appeal to collectors of vintage model engines and to enthusiasts who value period packaging. The box shows general wear and a handwritten “sc46” label to the top, as well as blue “SC” lettering across the front. The buyer should note that the completeness of the contents and the operating condition of the engine have not been verified, and the lot is offered as seen. Its original presentation and the clear ABC branding make it an interesting purchase for a collector or for a buyer seeking an unused-looking example for restoration or display.
