Alfred Charles Havell Framed Lithograph, A Fox Hunter’s Dream
This framed lithograph by Alfred Charles Havell (1855-1928) is titled A Fox Hunter’s Dream. The composition presents a multi-scene vignette layout across a single sheet, with fox figures in red hunting coats depicted in hunting, dining and social scenes. Scenes include a formal dinner at a table, figures gathered around a fireplace, dancing couples, and hounds and riders in the field. The print is shown in a muted palette of reds, greens and browns, set within a pale timber frame with a gilt inner slip and a cream mount.
