AMT Ertl Prestige Silhouette 1/25 Scale Model Kit
This lot is an Ertl Prestige Silhouette 1/25 scale model kit, issued under the AMT and Ertl name. The kit is presented in its original printed box and represents a futuristic show car in the style of the custom car hobby of the period. The box artwork shows a red, low-slung, wedge-profiled car with a bubble canopy, chrome wheels and a blower mounted at the front of the bonnet.
Boxed Vintage Model Kit with Visible Wear
The box shows clear signs of age and handling, with creasing, worn corners and edge damage. The illustrated lid remains legible, and the lid and base are both present. This is a boxed kit as offered, and no assurance is given regarding the completeness of the parts inside. Collectors of vintage American model kits, and enthusiasts of 1970s and 1980s custom car styling, may find interest in this example as a piece of model kit history.
