Scarborough Castle Charcoal Drawing
This is an original charcoal drawing by Annie Firth, depicting Scarborough Castle. Executed in a Victorian style, the artwork captures a detailed coastal scene with the castle prominently featured. The artist’s skillful use of charcoal creates a moody and atmospheric depiction of the historic landmark, showcasing a classic British landscape.
Condition and Collectibility
The artwork appears to be in good condition for its age, with expected signs of wear consistent with a piece from the 19th century. As an original work by Annie Firth (1850-1878), this piece would be of interest to collectors of Victorian art, British landscapes, and coastal scenes. The detailed execution and historical subject matter make it a desirable addition to any collection.
