Antique Brass Fender & Trivets
This antique brass fender is a classic hearth accessory, likely dating from the early to mid 20th century. The fender features a decorative, embossed design and is accompanied by three matching brass trivets. These trivets would have been used to protect the hearth from hot items and add to the overall aesthetic of the fireplace. The fender’s substantial construction suggests it was designed for regular use and to withstand the heat of a roaring fire.
Condition & Collectibility
The fender and trivets exhibit signs of age and use, including patina and minor wear consistent with their age. While not pristine, this wear adds to the character and authenticity of the piece. Collectors and those seeking to restore a vintage fireplace will appreciate the opportunity to own a genuine antique fender and trivet set, adding a touch of warmth and history to their home.
