Introduction

This is an antique brass jam pan, likely used for making preserves and jams in a bygone era. The pan features twin handles for easy lifting and pouring, and is constructed from solid brass, giving it a warm, golden hue. Its robust construction suggests it was designed for frequent use over an open flame, and its size indicates it could hold a substantial quantity of fruit and sugar.

Condition

The pan exhibits signs of age and use, with some patina and wear to the brass surface. This patina adds to its character and authenticity, demonstrating its history. Collectors and enthusiasts of vintage kitchenware will appreciate this pan as a charming and functional piece of culinary history, perfect for display or, with careful cleaning, for continued use.
