Antique Straight Razors
This lot comprises two antique cut throat razors. One is by Joseph Rogers & Sons, bearing the mark ‘The Celebrated’. The other is a German-made razor, distinguished by a Crown and Sword emblem. Both razors exhibit the classic design of the era, featuring hinged blades and likely originally housed in corresponding cases, as shown.
Condition and Collectibility
These razors appear as presented, with commensurate age-related wear to both the blades and cases. The cases show signs of wear and fading, while the blades may require restoration or sharpening. These razors would be of interest to collectors of antique shaving equipment, those interested in historical grooming tools, or individuals seeking unique display pieces.
