Defrasse Mantle Clock
This is an antique Defrasse mantle clock, bearing the serial number 50134. It is a French clock, awarded a gold medal at the Paris Exhibition in 1855. The clock features a beautifully crafted wooden case with a curved top, housing a white enamel dial with black Roman numerals. The movement is visible through the rear of the case, showcasing its intricate mechanics.
Condition
This clock presents as a well-preserved example of a 19th-century timepiece. While showing signs consistent with age and use, it retains much of its original charm and character.
