Antique Furniture Components
This lot comprises a collection of antique furniture components, likely salvaged from pieces originating from the Wycombe Museum collection. The assortment includes ornate metal brackets, decorative finials, and various other hardware elements. These pieces exhibit craftsmanship typical of Victorian and earlier periods, with intricate detailing and robust construction. The metalwork suggests a range of applications, from supporting furniture frames to embellishing decorative features.
Condition and Collector Appeal
The components show signs of age and wear consistent with their antique status and previous use. Some pieces exhibit surface rust, corrosion, and minor damage, but this adds to their character and authenticity. These salvaged parts are of particular interest to furniture restorers, collectors of antique metalwork, and those seeking unique architectural salvage for creative projects. The provenance from the Wycombe Museum adds to their historical significance and collectability.
