It is mounted on a brass stand and appears designed to be illuminated, suggesting it was originally intended as a decorative and functional desk piece. The globe’s construction and style indicate a focus on both aesthetic appeal and educational value.

Condition
This globe shows signs of age and wear consistent with its antique status. The glass shell exhibits some minor scratches and imperfections, and the base shows patina and possible wear.
