Antique Indian Sword Stick

This is an antique sword stick, likely originating from India. The handle is crafted from dark wood, possibly ebony, with intricate detailing and a brass collar. The blade is slender and tapers to a point, suggesting it was intended for thrusting. This piece combines functionality as a walking aid with a concealed blade, typical of sword sticks produced during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Condition and Collectibility

The sword stick exhibits signs of age and use, with some wear to the handle and blade. The blade shows some patina and minor imperfections consistent with its age. Despite this, the sword stick remains a fascinating collectible, appealing to those interested in antique weaponry, historical artifacts, or unique walking sticks. It would be a notable addition to a collection of antique arms or a display of historical curios.
