Introduction

This is a substantial antique lathe, likely dating to the early to mid 20th century. Constructed from heavy cast iron and steel, it exhibits the robust build quality typical of workshop machinery from that era. The lathe features a substantial bed, a headstock with various gear changes, and a tailstock for supporting workpieces. The presence of a cross slide and compound rest suggests its capability for turning a variety of shapes and sizes.

Condition

The lathe displays significant signs of age and use, with considerable surface rust and wear commensurate with its age and industrial history. While the mechanisms appear largely intact, the lathe has not been tested for functionality and is sold as a static display item. This lathe would appeal to collectors of vintage tools, those interested in restoring industrial machinery, or individuals seeking a unique and characterful decorative piece for a workshop or man cave.
