Introduction
This is a handsome antique oak shirt cupboard, likely dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. Constructed from solid oak, it features a moulded cornice above a pair of panelled doors, one with a decorative floral inlay. The interior offers hanging space and shelving, providing practical storage. The cupboard stands on turned legs, adding to its classic aesthetic.
Condition
This cupboard exhibits signs of age and wear consistent with its antique status. There are surface scratches, minor imperfections to the veneer, and some fading to the finish. Despite these points, the cupboard remains structurally sound and retains much of its original character. It would be a desirable addition to a period home or for a collector of antique furniture.
