Antique Silver Snuff Bottle Pendant

This antique pendant features a hexagonal silver bottle, likely originally intended for snuff or opium, beautifully adorned with semi-precious stones. The silverwork exhibits intricate detailing, and the bottle is suspended from a delicate chain. The design suggests an Oriental origin, possibly dating from the 19th or early 20th century, and reflects the aesthetic preferences of the period.

Condition and Collectibility

The pendant shows signs consistent with age and use, including some surface wear and patina, which adds to its character. While the bottle is not sealed, it remains a fascinating example of antique silverwork and a unique piece for collectors of Oriental artifacts or vintage jewellery. The combination of silver, semi-precious stones, and unusual form makes this pendant a desirable addition to any collection.
