Antique Hand-Painted Porcelain & Brass Chandelier
This chandelier features a central porcelain stem adorned with hand-painted floral motifs and cherubic figures. The framework is constructed from brass, exhibiting an ornate design typical of French chandeliers from the late 19th or early 20th century. The multiple arms extending from the central stem would have originally held lights, creating a warm and inviting ambiance.
Condition & Collector Appeal
The chandelier presents as a restoration project, with evidence of age and wear commensurate with its age. Some porcelain elements may exhibit chips or cracks, and the brass framework may show signs of oxidation or corrosion. Despite its condition, this chandelier holds significant appeal for collectors of antique lighting, restoration enthusiasts, or those seeking a unique statement piece for their home.
