Antique Silver Watch Chain Necklace

This elegant necklace is crafted from silver and appears to have originally been a pocket watch chain, repurposed for wear as a necklace. The chain features a delicate, repeating link pattern, culminating in an ornate, pierced filligree pendant. The pendant displays intricate detailing, suggesting a Victorian or Edwardian origin. The overall design speaks to a period of refined craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Condition and Collectibility

The necklace shows signs of age and wear, consistent with its antique status. The silver exhibits a lovely patina, and there are no immediately apparent major damages. This piece would appeal to collectors of antique jewellery, particularly those interested in Victorian or Edwardian silverwork, or those seeking a unique and characterful accessory. The repurposed nature of the piece adds to its charm and historical interest.
