Antique Walnut Dressing Table Mirror
This is a beautiful antique walnut dressing table mirror, featuring a shaped rectangular mirror plate within a carved walnut frame. The frame exhibits classic Victorian detailing, with gentle curves and subtle floral motifs. The mirror stands on two elegantly shaped supports, connected by a small shelf, providing a practical and decorative element. This mirror would have been a cherished addition to a bedroom vanity in its time, offering both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Condition and Collectibility
The mirror shows signs of age and wear, consistent with its antique status. There are some minor imperfections to the walnut frame, including small chips and scratches, and the mirror plate exhibits some age-related silvering loss. Despite these imperfections, the mirror remains a visually striking piece, and its originality adds to its charm. Collectors of antique vanity items or those seeking a unique decorative piece will find this mirror particularly appealing.
